Ashurst Pre-school are looking to recruit a new member of staff on a temporary contract to join our hardworking team of practitioners starting in January 2020. The role is temporary until July 2020 with the possibility of a more permanent post.  This is an exciting opportunity to provide exceptional care and educational support to children of pre-school age.  The successful candidate will need to be adaptable, caring, enthusiastic, hard-working and have a drive to provide the best possible care to the children and families we serve.  Applicants must have a minimum of a level 3 childcare qualification (or equivalent). First aid and safeguarding is preferable but training will be available.

This post is for 18 hours per week plus staff meetings, parent’s evenings and any other additional pre-school functions.  The post is for Hampshire term time only.  We follow strict safer recruitment procedures and an enhanced D.B.S check and references will be required during the interview process.  NB: this post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
