Ashurst Pre-school are looking to recruit a part time qualified practitioner to join our hardworking team starting in September 2023. This is an exciting opportunity to provide exceptional care and educational support to children of pre-school age. The successful candidate will need to be adaptable, caring, enthusiastic, hard-working and have a drive to provide the best possible care to the children and families we serve. Applicants would need a minimum level 3 childcare qualification and experience working in an early year’s educational setting. First aid and safeguarding are preferable but training will be available.
This post is for approximately 20 hours per week plus staff meetings, parent’s evenings and any other additional pre-school functions. The rate of pay will start from £10.95 depending on experience and having a relevant qualification. The post is for Hampshire term time only. We follow strict safer recruitment procedures and an enhanced D.B.S check and references will be required during the interview process. NB: this post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
